Repair Ministry Team

The Repair Ministry Team at Assembly Mennonite Church is part of a network of churches engaged in education, solidarity, and reparative action alongside Indigenous Peoples. It is affiliated with the Coalition to Dismantle the Doctrine of Discovery which calls on the Christian Church to address the extinction, enslavement, and extraction done in the name of Christ on Indigenous lands.

Activities of the Repair Ministry Team have included organizing a Sunday morning worship series; leading a book study of, “The Land is Not Empty” by Sarah Augustine (Indigenous and Mennonite activist), and supporting the campaign to stand with the Apache Stronghold in their efforts to save Oak Flat from extractive industry.
